Munson Paddock, whose
life story turned out to be a lot more prosaic than his
misinformation-based legend, penned the one-note series
Little Mrs. Thoughtful for the
New York Evening Telegram. It ran on a weekly schedule in the Saturday edition of the
Telegram from February 8 to June 6 1908, then took a hiatus, and returned on Wednesdays from September 16 to October 7.
