Herriman Saturday



May 31, 1909 -- Herriman's 'Guess Who' series continues; presumably the fellow buying cigars is the subject of this one. I don't recognize the caricature, but evidently he either runs a local boxing venue or manages local fighters.

    Hello Allan,

    I found an end date for Vip's "The Captain's Gig" in the December 1, 1979 edition of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (it's on page 11).
