In case you're not up on your liquor terminology, a three finger drink is a straight shot that is as high on the glass as three stacked horizontal fingers. If you've got pudgy fingers, that can mean up to 2.5" toward sweet oblivion.

In an effort to standardize things, I understand the finger measure has been replaced these days by one ounce per digit. Seems unfair to the fat-fingered lushes amongst us.
