George Frink debuted on the daily comics page of the
Chicago Daily News in 1901 and produced a ton of material, both in series and one-shots. His fifth of dozens of series for the
News was
Scientific Experiments, a strip in which a scientist would show some scientific principle or demonstrate a new invention with wacky results. The strip only ran a handful of times from January 23 to March 18 1902.
