Sunday, March 8 1908 -- Another major boxing title fight is announced for L.A., this time in the tiny 105 lb. bantamweight class. Current champion Johnny Coulon will face off against local favorite Young Terry McGovern, aka Hughey McGovern, at the Naud Junction Pavilion. The fight will be on Friday, March 13.
