Herriman Saturday
Friday, September 25 1908 -- Two young lightweights, Leonard Lauder and Harry 'Kid' Trendall, are set for a rematch tonight in L.A., after a bout last month that ended in a draw. Trendall was well-known as the better fighter, and had a long career ahead of him, but Herriman here throws a bone to the underdog Lauder. Lauder's career would be less than stellar, his stats show that he was mostly a punching bag earning losses and draws in most of his fights.
Trendall would take away the win on points in this rematch.
