Herriman Saturday
Tuesday, October 27 1908 -- Herriman makes a weak start at a new comic strip series today, to be titled "It Happens Every Day". Neither Herriman or his readers seem to have thought it particularly worthwhile, as the series concluded after only a second installment three days later. Since there are no continuing characters or a real unifying theme, I didn't even consider it worth including in my book. So if you and your buds are real Herriman fanatics, amaze them by being able to name this, his shortest and most obscure series.
