My name is Allan Holtz, and I am a comic strip historian. In the course of my research I come across a lot of interesting rare material that may or may not end up used in my projects but that I hate to just file away unseen. This blog is my outlet for all manner of interesting, oddball and rare material related to comic strip history.
Your participation is encouraged - got a question about newspaper comic strips you'd like answered, or have a suggestion for a topic you'd like me to cover? Have some information about a strip or cartoonist you'd like to share? I'd love to hear from you!
